In a Friday announcement, Clarkson University highlighted Mengucci’s roles aside from being the Board of Trustees’ vice chair. The executive also chairs the Presidential Search Committee seeking the university’s 19th president and is a member of the Financial Affairs and People Priorities Committees.
Mengucci graduated from Clarkson University with a bachelor of science degree in computer science. Since then, he has built up a four-decade career at notable defense contractors.

The industry leader was with General Electric for six years before moving to Lockheed Martin, where he worked for more than 20 years in roles with increasing responsibilities, including as vice president and general manager of Department of Defense systems and as president of information systems and global solutions organization.
Mengucci has been with CACI for more than 12 years now, joining the government contractor in February 2012 as chief operating officer and president of its U.S. operations. He then assumed the president and CEO post in July 2019.
