Mary Lou Prevost, vice president of state and local government and education at CA Technologies (Nasdaq: CA), has said state government agencies should adopt a single identification system coupled with automation platforms to facilitate the delivery of services to citizens.
Prevost wrote that an automation-equipped single ID system could help reduce fraud, cut costs and increase efficiency.
Agencies should also field privileged-access management and authentication tools to safeguard citizens™ personal data from internal and external cyber threats.
The adoption of agile methodology could help agencies accelerate the development of new applications and platforms that work to deliver services to people, she noted.
Prevost also cited the role of a diverse workforce to states™ citizen engagement efforts.
