Brit Systems has secured a potential 10-year, $400M contract with the Defense Logistics Agency to provide and maintain a digital imaging network of picture archiving communications systems.
The system would function as an archive for medical images intended for the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Work will take place in Texas and other locations across the globe through July 18, 2024, and continue for five more years if the given option is exercised. DLA will use fiscal 2019 through fiscal 2024 defense working capital funds to finance orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
