Vertical flight platforms provider Bristow said Friday it expects the all-cash transaction to conclude in the third quarter of 2022, pending regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
BIH delivers search and rescue and helicopter support services to commercial and military customers, including the U.K. defense ministry. The company also provides the U.K. navy with Fleet Operational Sea Training helicopter support.
“This acquisition will further our government services business as we look to strengthen existing relationships and develop new partnerships throughout government sectors for safe and reliable vertical lift solutions,” said Chris Bradshaw, president and CEO of Bristow Group.
Bradshaw added that the addition of BIH’s team members and existing capabilities will enable Bristow to further expand its service offerings in the U.K. and abroad.
BIH will operate under the Bristow brand and name.
BIH’s fleet includes three S61 helicopters, a AS365 helicopter and two AW189 SAR-configured helicopters, focused on providing hoist operations and freight and passenger transport services.
