The Herndon, Virginia-based company said Wednesday that Durham will lead the continued expansion of its Data and AI Practice.

Who Is Brandy Durham?
Durham joined ManTech in 2023 as vice president of the company’s Data and AI Practice.
“Since joining ManTech, Brandy has built ManTech’s Data and AI Practice into a premier center-of-excellence,” commented Joe Cubba, the company’s chief growth officer. “She has assembled a world-class team with deep understanding of our clients’ missions and the expertise to turn data and AI into real, operational results.”
Before ManTech, she served as senior practice manager for artificial intelligence supporting the national security community at Amazon Web Services, where she spearheaded independent research and development efforts and oversaw client projects spanning data science, computer vision, natural language processing, machine learning engineering, graph analytics and quantum computing.
Earlier in her career, Durham spent more than a decade at IBM, where she led data, AI, analytics, sales and delivery for U.S. federal and public sector clients worldwide.
According to LinkedIn, her professional background also includes positions at Microsoft, Booz Allen Hamilton and General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems.
Durham holds bachelor’s degrees in political science and government from St. Mary’s University and a master’s in political science from Texas A&M University.
How Has ManTech Deployed Data and AI Across Federal Missions?
Over the past year, ManTech has made steps to expand its Data and AI Practice.
The company acquired Elder Research, a provider of AI and data science platforms to U.S. government clients and Fortune 500 firms. ManTech also partnered with Oracle to combine its data and AI expertise with cloud and security technologies to support government AI workloads.
In addition, ManTech deployed agentic AI capabilities for the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center and delivered machine learning capabilities to the Department of Homeland Security and law enforcement agencies to enhance border security operations.
