Booz Allen Secures $116M DOE Cybersecurity Support Contract; Mark Gamis Quoted

Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) will analyze potential risks and vulnerabilities in Department of Energy information technology networks as part of a potential seven-year, $116M contract.

Work covers cyber analysis and security services such as incident monitoring and response program management, enterprise network penetration testing and critical situation response, Booz Allen said Thursday.

The company plans to collect information on potential threats across DOE networks in collaboration with the grater community.

Mark Gamis, a Booz Allen senior vice president, said the firm’s cyber professionals will work to address the department’s objectives with the use of technology.

Gamis added the company has supported cyber and security organizations across the government.
