Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received an $86.3 million contract modification to perform ancillary hardware and software upgrades to the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft of the U.S. Navy and six international government customers.
The modification includes foreign military sales to Australia, Canada, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia and Switzerland, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
DoD added the Naval Air Warfare Center will obligate funds upon the issuance of task orders.
Boeing will perform work under the modification in California and Missouri through December 2018.
The Navy also awarded an $89.2 million modification to Boeing on May 5 to maintain, sustain and support the service branch’s F/A-18 and EA-18G fleets.
