Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a $169.46 million contract from the U.S. Army to support a long lead effort for the full-rate production of lot 12 Apache attack helicopters.
Services will take place at the company’s facility in Meza, Arizona, and the estimated completion date is May 31, 2027, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Only Boeing submitted a bid for the firm-fixed-price contract via the Army Contracting Command’s online solicitation process.
The company and the U.S. government reached a five-year, $3.46 billion Apache manufacturing deal in March 2017 for lots 7 to 11 of the multirole combat helicopter platform. This agreement was the first for the Apache E variant.
