The U.S. Air Force has awarded Boeing (NYSE: BA) task orders worth $123.1 million for the fourth option year of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for commercial derivative aircraft engineering services.
USAF obligated $49.3 million at the time of award from its fiscal 2021 operation and maintenance funds, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The company will perform work through Jan. 31, 2023, at Warner Robins AF Base in Georgia, Offutt AFB in Nebraska and facilities located in Oklahoma City and San Antonio.
Boeing’s commercial derivative aircraft division operates under the defense, space and security business segment and develops military or government versions of the 7-series airliner platform.
