Boeing (NYSE: BA) received a $91.3M contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to manufacture high-speed computing systems designed to process mission data on F-15 jets.
The company will produce and integrate Advanced Display Core Processor II boxes into the fighter aircraft, the Department of Defense said Monday.
DoD noted the modification represents an option under a previously awarded ADCPII Low-Rate Initial Production 3 contract and runs through Dec. 28, 2021.
Work will take place in St. Louis, Mo., and the military service will obligate the full amount of the modification from its fiscal 2018 and 2019 procurement funds.
The Air Force initially awarded a potential $317.4M contract in September 2018 for F-15 mission computer production and integration services.
