Boeing Receives $107M Award to Support USAF Missile Telemetry, Termination System Implementation

Boeing (NYSE: BA) has received a $107 million contract modification to help the U.S. Air Force deploy telemetry and termination platforms for the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile system.

The company will support implementation work to meet the launch schedule of the USAF’s Flight Test Telemetry Termination Rapid Fielding program, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

Work under the change-order-definitization, cost-plus-incentive-fee modification award will take place in Layton, Utah, through June 28, 2024.

The Air Force awarded the company a $110.1 million contract in 2015 to replace Minuteman III ICBM components that process data on missile hardware such as the guidance section and booster stage pressure chambers. guidance section.

In November 2018, Boeing secured a $70.5 million award from the service branch to implement specification changes to the missile program’s cable and antenna test requirements, flight termination receiver, electronic interference and parts management plan.
