Advisory firm BMNT has named co-founder William Treseder as chief operating officer and appointed industry veteran Mark Peterson as chief financial officer in a move aimed at expanding the company’s presence in national security sectors globally.
Both executives bring decades of industry experience and will support BMNT’s plans to expand globally, extend services to military customers and strengthen partnerships with allies in Nordics, Baltics, Asia and South America, the company said Monday.
Treseder is a Marine Reservist who served as the chief strategy officer for the Marine Innovation Unit. He was most recently senior vice president of enterprise services and VP of product development at BMNT.
Meanwhile, Peterson joined BMNT in 2017 after spending 13 years at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), where he served as a product line senior director and director of technology and product development.
“Having Mark and William in these roles will not only prime BMNT for accelerated growth but also provide opportunities for other talented individuals within our company to advance into larger positions,” said Peter Newell, CEO of BMNT.
