Professional services firm cBEYONData has acquired Alta Via Consulting for an undisclosed sum to establish a combined entity that will provide enterprise resource planning, financial and data analytics platforms and services to federal government customers.
The combined firm will operate with over 240 employees that are focused on delivering business intelligence, ERP design and architecture, robotic process automation, financial management and cloud migration support to the U.S. Army, General Services Administration, Department of Justice and other federal clients, cBEYONData said Wednesday.
Alta Via provides ERP consulting support, business process evaluation, data protection, risk mitigation, operational design and technology evaluation services to help clients execute and sustain business transformation. The advisory firm has been a development partner of SAP (NYSE: SAP) since its establishment in 1998.
Alta Via Principal Partners Dawn Sedgley, Anton van der Merwe and Chris Jackiw will join cBEYONData as a result of the transaction.
Lorton, Virginia-based cBEYONData, a portfolio company of Bluestone Investment Partners, will integrate Alta Via’s performance optimization and cost analytics tools with its CFO Control Tower, an on-demand platform that could help federal agency clients improve financial systems reporting and automate business processes.
Dyson Richards, CEO of cBEYONData, said the acquisition will enable the company to expand its offerings and deliver value to existing and future customers by supporting their business transformation efforts.
Alta Via received investment banking and legal support from The McLean Group and Nelson Mullins, respectively. Holland & Knight offered legal support to cBEYONData in the transaction.
