General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has been awarded a potential five-year, $184 million contract from the General Services Administration to perform information technology services for the U.S. Army Europe™s mission command networks and systems.
The company said Thursday itsGeneral Dynamics One Source organization will work to manage IT, engineer systems, protect data, provide cross domain services and advise on the services™ technical aspect under the Theater Mission Command Contract II.
“TMCC II will deliver mission-critical IT services to support the operational requirements of the USAREUR warfighter and NATO coalition partners, said Bernie Guerry, senior vice president of General Dynamics IT™s intelligence solutions division.
One Source will also support the U.S. Army Europe through sustainment of garrison and deployed locations of command networks and systems.
The organization will execute the task order in various sites across Germany, Italy and the Balkans.
General Dynamics One Source is a joint venture between General Dynamics™ information technology and mission systems business units.
