Textron‘s (NYSE: TXT) Bell Helicopter subsidiary has landed a potential $146.6 million contract from the U.S. Navy to repair 35 items used on the UH-1Y utility helicopter and the AH-1Z attack helicopter.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday the firm-fixed-price contract contains a two-year base period that will run through June 2019 and a one-year unpriced option.
Work will occur in Fort Worth, Texas, through June 2019.
The Naval Supply Systems Command will obligate funds on individual orders from the military branch’s working capital funds.
