Battelle has received a potential five-year, $150 million blanket purchase agreement to support research and development initiatives of the U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center.
The nonprofit agency will provide assistance in biosciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences, toxicology and obscurants studies to the research and development directorate, Battelle said Monday.
Columbus, Ohio-based Battelle also disclosed a separate $42 million contract to develop and integrate personal protective equipment, body armor, exoskeletons, energy generation and storage, helmet systems, personal electronics, nano-unmanned aerial systems, infrared night vision and chemical and biological protection.
