McLean, Virginia-based information technology systems integrator B&A and the Natural Products Association have worked together to serve 250 meals and energy drinks for the U.S. Capitol Police as a gesture of appreciation for the federal law enforcement agency’s hardworking personnel.
B&A said Thursday it turned to Italian deli Grazie Grazie in Washington, D.C., to host a lunch event for Capitol Police and teamed up with NPA to provide them with C4 energy drinks through the association’s Nutrabolt member brand.
“Though a small gesture in comparison to their daily sacrifices, taking this great opportunity to provide them with meals as a token of our appreciation has been beyond rewarding,” said Jonathan Evans, president and CEO of B&A.
“I think this is a critical time in our country to come together—and what better place to do so than right here in our nation’s capital. I encourage all organizations to do their part in giving back to their local communities as we work through these challenging times.”
Last year, B&A and Grazie Grazie established a meal donation program to help feed local hospital health care workers as part of a COVID-19 relief effort, led by Evans and restaurant owner Casey Patten, for the DMV community.
