BAE Systems‘ U.S. subsidiary has received a potential five-year, $86 million contract for management, engineering, maintenance and information technology support to U.S. Navy combat systems.
BAE Systems Inc. will help the military branch integrate mission equipment, combat systems and computer programs to support the current and future operational requirements of the Naval Sea Systems Command’s Surface Combat Systems Center, the company said Monday.
“We are ensuring the interoperability of deployed systems and integrating next-generation technologies for use in testing and exercises at sea, ” said DeEtte Gray, president of the intelligence and security sector at BAE Systems Inc.
Sailors use high-fidelity systems to plan, test, research and train for their various missions.
