BAE Systems™ U.S. subsidiary has won a potential six-year, $84.7 million contract to design and develop Network Tactical Common Data Link systems for the U.S. Navy.
The service branch awarded the firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract to BAE Systems Inc. through a competitive procurement process with four proposals received, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
The contract has a base value of $47.6 million and covers low-rate initial production for hardware, depot repair, engineering and provisioning items ordering support.
DoD said work could run through September 2022 if all options are exercised and will occur in New Jersey, New York and Colorado.
