BAE Systems has won a potential $945.2M U.S. Air Force contract to provide instrumentation equipment components to domestic and international government clients.
The contract has a $495.5M base value and covers the supply of serviceable parts and subsystems for instrumentation tracking platforms to the U.S. military as well as the governments of Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden, South Korea and U.K., the Department of Defense said Monday.
Under the Instrumentation Range Support Program, BAE’s technology solutions and services business will provide components for radar, telemetry, GPS, flight termination, data acquisition and optical range systems.
The 45th Contracting Squadron received three bids for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate $116,235 in fiscal 2020 operations and maintenance funds on the first delivery order.
Work is slated to occur thorugh Sept. 30, 2027, at range facilities operated by the Air Force, Army, Navy, NASA, the Department of Energy and participating foreign nations.
