BAE Systems‘ Norfolk Ship Repair business has secured a potential $96.7 million contract to help the U.S. Navy implement extended dry-docking selected restricted availability efforts for an Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer.
The contractor will provide facilities and personnel required to maintain, repair and modernize the USS Cole (DDG 67) ship, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
Work will take place in Norfolk, Va., through July 2019.
