BAE Systems has secured a five-year, $383 million contract to help maintain the U.S. Army’s fleet of infantry fighting vehicles and rocket launcher carriers.
The contract covers technical and sustainment support for Bradley IFVs and M993 Multiple Launch Rocket System carriers of the M270 MLRS armored launcher, BAE said Wednesday.
Work will occur in California, Michigan, Arizona other locations worldwide.
The Bradley family includes the M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle and M7 Bradley Fire Support Team variants that support the operations of the Armored Brigade Combat Team.
Scott Davis, vice president of BAE’s ground vehicles product line, said the award extends the partnership between the company and the Army aimed at ensuring mission readiness of ground combat platforms.
