BAE Systems' land and armaments business has secured a $113.5M U.S. Marine Corps contract modification to manufacture 26 amphibious combat vehicles.
The service exercised options for two line item numbers that cover the production and associated manufacturing costs of USMC ACVs, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
A team comprised of BAE's U.S. Arm and Iveco Defence Vehicles won the $1.2B ACV contract in June 2018 after a full and open competition.
USMC will obligate the full amount of the modification at the time of award, which runs through April 2022.
