BAE Systems‘ land and armaments business segment has secured a $211.5 million contract modification to produce and deliver additional amphibious combat vehicles to the U.S. Marine Corps.
Marine Corps Systems Command exercised full-rate production contract options for 40 ACV Personnel variants and related test equipment, fielding and support services, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Sixty percent of work will occur in Pennsylvania and the rest in South Carolina, California, Michigan and Virginia through February 2026.
MCSC will obligate the exact contract amount in fiscal 2024 procurement funds at the time of award.
The contract’s total cumulative face value is $2.55 billion. In June 2018, the Marine Corps awarded a BAE Systems–Iveco Defence Vehicles team a potential $1.2 billion contract to produce up to 204 ACVs for the service branch.
The contract also covers the production of the ACV Recovery and ACV-30 variants.
