BAE Awarded $369M Ceiling Increase to Air Force Instrumentation Radar Support Contract

The U.S. Air Force has awarded BAE Systems a $369M contract modification to continue support work on parts and subsystems used in radar, telemetry and optical instrumentation tracking platforms.

BAE will help domestic and foreign government customers sustain range instrumentation and address obsolescence issues under the modification, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The company was originally awarded a $278.5M contract in late 2015 to support 28 test ranges worldwide.

USAF’s Instrumentation Radar Support Program serves the DoD, NASA, Department of Energy and at least seven international customers.

Contract work is scheduled to conclude by Dec. 31, 2020.
