BAE Systems’ ordnance unit will continue to run a government-owned ammunition manufacturing complex in Virginia under a $1.29 billion contract modification from the U.S. Army.
The award covers operational services to the Radford Army Ammunition Plant and the production of propellant components for military use, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Army Contracting Command received one proposal for the requirement and will determine funds with each order.
