Avian has purchased Ashburn, Virginia-based professional services provider Level Up for an undisclosed amount to expand software development, analytics and data engineering offerings for the government sector.
Level Up offers support to intelligence agencies in the areas of data collection and analysis, information system implementation, infrastructure architecture and target recognition, Avian said Thursday.
Kevin Switick, CEO and president of Avian, said Level Up is committed to supporting government missions that are considered essential to national defense and the acquired business aligns with Avian’s organizational principles and culture.
Merchant bank Zatara Capital, law firm Greenberg Traurig and consulting services company Crowe supported the transaction.
The acquisition comes more than three months after Avian acquired redUAS, a provider of counter-unmanned aircraft systems tactics and training services.
