AT&T (NYSE: T) has secured a potential 11-year, $119 million task order to help the U.S. Customs and Border Protection update voice and data networks that support wireless connectivity for law enforcement personnel.
CBP will receive audio conferencing systems and various services such as managed network and security, cloud connectivity and virtual private networking under the task order, AT&T said Monday.
The agency issued the award via the $50 billion Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions contract vehicle and has options to procure unified communications, managed trusted internet protocol and voice over IP network services.
