Assured Information Security has won a potential seven-year, $93.6M contract to develop software baselines for the U.S. Air Force’s Virtualized Intelligence Platform Engineering and Research program.
AIS will help the Air Force Research Laboratory prototype, integrate, test, demonstrate, update, deploy and sustain VIPER tools as part of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
The IDIQ contains cost-plus-fixed-fee task orders and includes emerging software concept training.
The service branch received one offer for the contract and will obligate fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance as well as research, development, test and evaluation funds for the first two task orders.
Work will take place in Rome, N.Y., through April 2026.
