An ASRC Federal business unit has won a 10-year, $207.9 million contract with the U.S. Air Force to provide on-site test operations, engineering and technical personnel for the Air Force Research Laboratory.
The Defense Departmentsaid Thursday personnel from ASRC Federal’s space and defense segment — called AS and D — will perform design, modification and engineering analysis work for AFRL’s test facilities.
Work will occur at Edwards Air Force Base in California through Sept. 30, 2026 and the Navy received three offers for the contract.
The Air Force Test Center’s specialized contracting division will obligate $821, 454.54 at the time of the award from fiscal 2016 research and development funds, DoD added.
ASRC formed a team from its AS and D and energy services units to compete for AFRL’s Aerospace System Technical Research and Operations Services contract.
AFRL is a Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio-headquartered laboratory that works to discover, develop and integrate warfighting technologies for air, space and cyberspace forces.
