Robert Gordon
Retired U.S. Army Col. Robert Gordon has joined SBG Technology Solutions as chief growth officer, a role through which he will oversee the Alexandria, Va.-based company’s strategic initiatives.
He will support clients in the national security and health sectors, drive portfolio expansion efforts and aim to create value for federal customers through government contract vehicles, SBG said Wednesday.
Gordon spent 26 years at the Army in staff, education and command roles. He also worked at the Department of Defense as deputy undersecretary for military community and family policy.
His private-sector career has included senior executive positions at technology companies APX Labs and Connected Living, as well as City Year and Be the Change nonprofit organizations.
The retired colonel is a recipient of multiple awards such as the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service.
