Merdith Temple
Merdith Temple, a 37-year veteran of the U.S. Army, has been appointed vice chair of the board of directors of Dewberry.
He has supported the firm’s ethics and compliance efforts as a board member and brings to the company his experience in military construction, emergency operations and civil works, Dewberry said Monday.
Temple retired from military service with the rank of major general in September 2012 after serving as deputy chief of the Army Corps of Engineers
He is a recipient of the Army Engineer Associations Gold Order of the deFleury Award and the American Society of Civil Engineers OPAL Award.
Temple holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Virginia Military Institute and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University.
