Jennifer Jensen, formerly vice president of business development for communications, navigation and surveillance systems at Sierra Nevada, has joined Charles Stark Draper Laboratory as VP of national security and space.
Kaigham Gabriel, president and CEO of Draper, said in a statement published Thursday Jensen will pursue defense, space and national security opportunities as the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based nonprofit research and development company builds new capabilities for clients and leverage investments in both commercial and private sectors.
Joining Draper offers me an opportunity to enhance the companys relationships across government and commercial sectors, Jensen said.
She spent nearly seven years at Sierra Nevada, where she developed relationships across defense and commercial markets.
Jensen is a U.S. Army veteran who led the acquisition, deployment and interoperability of aviation platforms into the services manned aircraft and drones.
