Acrow Corp. of America and Mabey Bridge have won spots on a potential $250M U.S. Army contract to provide bridging system support services.
Both companies will compete for orders under the firm-fixed-price contract that covers wet and dry gap line of communications bridge construction efforts, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Army Contracting Command received two bids via the internet and will determine funds and work locations with each order.
The service branch last year released a source-sought notice as part of its market research into commercially available LOC bridging platforms.
DoD expects work under the contract to be completed by March 25, 2022.
