The vehicle includes reconfiguration capabilities designed to support warfighter mission requirements and offers protection, off-road mobility, network and firepower systems built to operate with combat formations, the company said Tuesday.
“Designing, building, and delivering the world’s most capable light tactical vehicle, the Oshkosh JLTV, is one of our greatest accomplishments. And we plan to continue building the Oshkosh JLTV for many years to come,” said George Mansfield, vice president and general manager of joint programs for Oshkosh Defense.
The U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force are the domestic military recipients of the vehicles.
Oshkosh Defense will also provide 59 JLTVs to NATO and non-NATO allies such as Lithuania, North Macedonia and Brazil as part of the order.
