USACE received nine bids for the firm-fixed-price contracts via the internet and the agency expects work to conclude on Nov. 9, 2026, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
AshBritt and ECC will compete for task orders worth up to $500 million, while DRC and AshBritt will also vie for similar tasks under a potential $250 million contract.
Debris management involves the clearance, demolition, temporary storage, reduction, transport and disposal of debris generated by a natural disaster or terrorist event, according to USACE.
USACE works with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, other federal agencies and state and local governments to carry out its debris management mission.
