Gentex has received an $82.5 million contract from the U.S. Army to supply aircrew masks, life support system and flight equipment for the Joint Strike Fighter program.
The company will build Joint Service Aircrew Mask systems for the military branch in an effort to protect fighter pilots against chemical and biological threats when they conduct missions, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
The Army will determine the performance locations and funds based on each order and the company is scheduled to complete deliveries by Sept. 2, 2026.
The service branch received one bid for the contract via the Internet.
