Army Looks to Unify Regional Cybersecurity Center Mgmt Contracts Under ITES-3S Vehicle

The U.S. Army plans to consolidate its contracts for the management of five regional cyber centers into a multiple-award enterprise information technology services contract vehicle, Bloomberg Government reported Wednesday.

BGOV said it predicts the new contract to reach a total potential value of $100M.

The Army intends to migrate the awards into the IT Enterprise Solutions-3 Services contract, which will cover operational support for the Army Cyber Command’s RCCs located across the globe, according to a request for information obtained by BGOV.

ARCYBER’s cybersecurity centers utilize the Department of Defense’s classified SIPRNet and unclassified NIPRNet networks.

RCCs covered by the ITES-3S will encompass regions such as the continental U.S., Europe, Pacific, Southwest Asia and Korea.

In 2018, the Army awarded 134 companies spots on the ITES-3S vehicle. The service branch has obligated $273M to ITES-3S contract awardees to date, according to BGOV.
