Army Issues Sources Sought Notice for $106M Cloud Management Support Recompete

The U.S. Army has begun to seek information on potential contractors that could provide management support for its cloud environment under a potential five-year, $105.8M recompete contract, Bloomberg Government reported Friday.

The Army Resource Cloud contract will support the Deputy Chief of Staff Army G-8’s program budget data management division, which is responsible for developing the service’s portion of the president’s annual budget proposal to Congress.

Contract work will include cloud infrastructure items; engineering development; business capability definition; prototyping; architectural design and evaluation; and integration, configuration, migration, sustainment and maintenance of all business applications.

The Army will require services for cloud infrastructure initiatives, data science and security activities, among others, and expects prime contractors and subcontractors to have level 4 Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification to secure controlled unclassified information.

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) is the incumbent on the current ARC contract, which is slated to end in July 2021.

The service will accept responses to the sources sought notice through Nov. 12.
