The U.S. Army has released its draft request for proposals for a potential $957M contract vehicle for cyber training services in support of organizations within the Department of Defense and other non-DoD agencies.
A notice posted Wednesday says the Cyber Training, Readiness, Integration, Delivery and Enterprise Technology contract will support the integration, management, evolution and maintenance of the Persistent Cyber Training Environment and provide acquisition lifecycle support for the PCTE system baseline.
The Cyber TRIDENT contract will also back external interoperability efforts and synchronization with the technical operations management organization.
PCTE provides the Pentagon’s cyber workforce the capability to carry out cyber training, mission rehearsals, exercises, certifications and experimentations and the ability to evaluate and come up with cyber techniques and tactics.
The Army issued the updated statement of work for the Cyber TRIDENT contract in late November and held an industry day the following month.
Fifth Domain reported a final solicitation is expected by the end of the second half of calendar year 2020 for the contract, which could be awarded by early 2021.
