Andrew Boyd, a founding partner of veteran-owned company McIntire Solutions, has joined Unisys(NYSE: UIS) as group vice president for defense and intelligence agencies at the company’s federal business.
Unisys said Monday Boyd will oversee account management, business growth and service delivery efforts aimed at Defense Department and intelligence community clients.

“He brings a background of hands-on leadership that will help Unisys grow its business and bring its portfolio of federal and commercial IT [services] to this sector of our client base,” said PV Puvvada, president of Unisys Federal and a 2018 Wash100 recipient.
Boyd previously served as a vice president of client accounts at Engilitys (NYSE: EGL) TASC subsidiary, where he was responsible for the contractor’s work with the National Geospatial Agency and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
He spent six years as a U.S. Air Force officer focused on satellite operations and space-based acquisition and engineering efforts.
