The LTRaC contract is a small business set aside with an eight-year ordering period, including three 12-month options. The Army issued a request for proposals for the effort on March 8 and closed submissions in April. According to the service branch, it received 13 bids from the RFP.
Under the deal, the selected companies will conduct technology support to the Army’s live training ranges, including combat training centers and home station ranges within and outside the continental United States. Work will include continuous technology refreshments, system modification or modernization, and delivery of new capabilities.
The IDIQ covers multiple Army programs such as the Future Army System of Integrated Targets, Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center, Synthetic Training Environment – Live Training Systems and Marine Corps live training efforts.
