Amentum has received a five-year, $126 million contract task order to perform research, development, test and evaluation work in support of the U.S. Army combat systems modernization efforts.
The award covering RDT&E services was made under a contract vehicle managed by the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center, the company said Tuesday.
Under the task order, Amentum will offer recommendations to help the service branch develop, integrate, sustain and demilitarize assets under the Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat Service Support and PEO Ground Combat Systems.
The company will also assist the two PEOs in engineering systems that work with larger Department of Defense platform designed for combat operations.
Jill Bruning, president of Amentum’s engineering, science and technology group and a previous Wash100 awardee, said the company will apply its agile digital engineering experience to inform the Army of future system development and interoperability.
