Amentum has won a $210 million contract to help the Defense Logistics Agency’s aviation team manage hazardous materials for the U.S. Navy’s Fleet Readiness Centers.
Three responses were submitted to DLA during a competitive acquisition process for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The company received a $21 million task order covering the first ordering period of the five-year IDIQ award.
Services will be performed at Naval Fleet Readiness Centers in California, Maryland, Virginia, Florida and North Carolina. The FRCs were established to facilitate repair and maintenance of the service branch’s aircraft, components and support equipment.
DLA intends to use defense working capital funds for fiscal year 2022 through fiscal 2027 to pay for individual task orders.
