Amentum Names Lockey Hawkins, Withers to Key Executive Roles

Amentum has appointed Susan Lockey Hawkins as senior vice president of growth for intelligence and cyber and Kimberly Withers as vice president and associate general counsel of mission solutions. Lockey Hawkins and Withers announced their appointments through LinkedIn Monday.

Who is Susan Lockey Hawkins?

Lockey Hawkins is a seasoned executive with vast experience in the national security sector, particularly in acquisition strategy, corporate planning, investment strategy, operations management and customer engagement.

She has been with Northrop Grumman for over nine years, most recently as the senior director of strategy and mission solutions of the navigation, targeting, and survivability division at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. She has also held various director positions and been a senior business development manager for different divisions. Lockey Hawkins also worked at L-3 National Security Solutions and L-3 Communications until their acquisition by CACI.

Who Is Kimberly Withers?

Withers is a veteran general counsel with a proven track record of delivering results in publicly traded and private equity-backed companies. She brings expertise in growth strategy, risk mitigation, and team management. In her new dual role, she will oversee legal strategy and provide high-level counsel for the $6 billion mission solutions group.

Withers joins Amentum after over eight years at Honeywell, where she held various leadership roles, including VP, associate general counsel and senior counsel. Withers worked at Harris for nearly seven years as corporate counsel and paralegal.
