The order, awarded under the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services contract vehicle, includes equipping stakeholders to respond to natural disasters and other critical situations, Amentum said Thursday.
BHA will work with the company to create a training and capacity-building program in 31 countries across the Latin American and Caribbean regions.
“Our experts are primed to deliver on-the-ground emergency response coordination to our USAID partner, along with expedited decentralized procurement of emergency response commodities and training to Latin American and Caribbean region emergency response personnel to build local-level sustainability,” said Karl Spinnenweber, president of Amentum’s critical missions group.
As an agency partner, the company aims to facilitate humanitarian assistance coordination, help advance national emergency management systems and tailor programs to the disaster response requirements in LAC countries.
Amentum is sponsoring GovCon Wire’s DoD: Digital Modernization Forum on Jan. 12, where U.S. Space Force Chief Technology and Innovation Officer Lisa Costa will serve as keynote speaker. Click here to register for the event.
