Amentum Achieves $3.6B in Q3 2025 Revenues

Amentum reported $3.6 billion in fiscal 2025 third quarter revenues, up 2 percent year-over-year. The advanced engineering and technology company also outperformed its expected earnings per share with an adjusted diluted EPS of $0.56, up 10 percent year-over-year and 80.65 percent higher than the forecasted $0.31.

According to the earnings release shared Tuesday, despite Amentum’s stock slipping by 1.22 percent to $24.57 on pre-market trading, it has maintained momentum with a 20.35 percent year-to-date return. The company also showed a healthy current liquidity ratio of 1.56 and achieved an adjusted EBITDA of $274 million, up 7 percent from the previous year. Furthermore, Amentum’s free cash flow was $100 million while its net leverage was reduced to 3.5x.

At a recent earnings call, Amentum CEO John Heller said, “Amentum’s third quarter performance reflects strong execution and demonstrates the continued strength of our business. We’re seeing benefits from our integration efforts and mission-focused portfolio converge with tailwinds from enduring global trends and an improving budget environment.”

The nine-time Wash100 Award winner also stated, “The successful divestiture of Rapid Solutions combined with our strategic growth initiatives enhance our financial flexibility and provide momentum for future growth as we head into the fourth quarter and beyond. Q4 2025 Outlook

Analysts anticipate a further increase in sales revenue in 2025, with the company’s continuous growth in the defense, space and intelligence sectors, with a focus on nuclear technology and strategic divestitures. Amentum’s forecasts for the fourth quarter include revenue between $13.975 billion and $14.175 billion and an adjusted EPS of $2.05 to $2.20.
