Nanoracks said Thursday that Wilson succeeds Jeffrey Manber, who will continue to serve as the company’s board chairman and assume a new role as president of Voyager Space’s international and space stations business.
Wilson will lead Nanoracks and spinoff initiatives related to its partnership with Voyager Space and Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) aimed at creating a commercial space station .
Her career also includes leadership positions at FLIR Systems and Elbit Systems of America.
To date, Houston-based Nanoracks has sent 1,300 research experiments and more than 300 small satellites into space.
