Amanda Cody, a nearly two-decade data security veteran, has returned to Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) as chief information security officer.
She previously held the CISO role at the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center and also supported Booz Allen’s defense and intelligence customers, the company said Wednesday.
Cody aims to help the government contractor evolve its asset and vulnerability management programs and carry out what it calls the “Client Zero” approach to information technology innovation.
In her new capacity, she also seeks to strengthen industry collaboration on emerging technology such as quantum and artificial intelligence.
The Strayer University graduate worked as associate at Booz Allen from February 2004 to January 2009, according to her LinkedIn profile.
Her professional experience also included security roles at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), National Geographic Partners, Scitor and the American Red Cross.
