Al Tadros, a more than three-decade aerospace industry leader, has joined space technology developer Redwire as chief growth officer and executive vice president of space infrastructure.
He will report to Andrew Rush, chief operating officer of Redwire, and oversee the company’s business development efforts, growth strategy and advancement of capabilities within defense, civil and commercial space sectors, the company said Tuesday.
“Al is a respected aerospace thought leader and executive with a proven track record in maturing satellite and space systems programs for exploration and commercial benefits while also driving revenue growth,” said Rush.
Rush added that Tadros’ leadership in advancing technology platforms, supporting client’s objectives and integrating national security and civil space interests will help Redwire improve its position as a space infrastructure technology provider.
Tadros most recently served as VP of space infrastructure and civil space at Maxar Technologies (NYSE: MAXR). He held leadership roles in systems and control engineering, spacecraft guidance navigation and program management.
